Chinese style food buffett(Very good for the price)
Excellent egg foo jung during afternoon lunch.
Best egg drop soup I have found in the Fox Valley, WI area
Dinner time and evening:
Real salmon fillets replace the egg foo jung.
Jalapeno spiced shrimp in the shell
Excellent shrimp vegetable medly
Coffee, tea and sodas
Mini cakes, cookies, fruit, ice cream and pudding.
I personally have been eating at the China Buffett for over 15 years. Except on very few ocassions, I have always felt the food I choose there tasted excellent. The few exceptional ocassions the egg drop soup and the General Tsao's sauce were a bit thin, but still edible.
Since I took my wife there the first time a couple years ago, she now says that is her favorite place to eat!

OK restaurant.

Good food and choices. Pancakes are good.
Monarch and wife have eaten at Denny's several times. Every time it was COLD in the restaurant. On one ocassion we asked to not have it so cold, they did accomadate.
The last time we were at Denny's we left because we waited over fifteen minutes to place our order. After a half-hour we finally paid for our teas, left before our food came out and ate at the Wisconsin Ave Diner. (See the Wisconsin Ae Diner above)
Probably not a bad place to eat for a female having a strong hot flash. ;-)
Not recommeneded restaurants
Apple Valley Pancake House, Appleton, WI -
We stopped at this place to see if we would like their pancakes, etc. Even though there weren't a lot of patrons it was still at least about 10 minutes be fore one spanish lady finally came to take our order. When the food finally came it was very mediocre at best. We finished our meal and left, not leaving any tip. To say the least, we were very disappointed with the service and the food we recieved. We have NOT return to this place since!
